Origin Story
RedMarble was born out of a necessity to address prevalent challenges faced by Western brands developing and manufacturing in Asia.
As liaison for brands and their world-class design teams, engineers, and Asian manufacturers, our founder (Sal) often found himself navigating an antiquated and high-risk system that lacked a unified goal – bringing products to market.
Observing frequent mistakes across the board—from startups to e-commerce retailers, SMEs to leading brands and everyone in between—that resulted in lost design identities after extensive and frustrating development processes. Compelled by these observations, Sal sought to find a solution.
Hence, RedMarble's mission was born.
By infusing Western management principles and cohesive design thinking into the product lifecycle, Sal teamed up with Baptiste, a fellow expatriate entrepreneur with ten years of experience managing design teams in Asia through his company Miio Studio. Together, Sal and Baptiste bridge the gap and streamline Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) to enhance their product development operations, to launch projects more efficiently to market.
